Continuing Education for Public Health Professionals

The Midwest Center for Life-Long Learning in Public Health (MCLPH) is a member of the national network of Public Health Training Centers, and strengthens the technical, scientific, managerial and leadership competence of the current and future public health workforce. To accomplish this mission, we partner with health departments in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin for practice and education, enhancing our ability to serve our communities.

Providing National Leadership by:

  • Ensuring regional access to support lifelong learning
  • Eliminating cultural disparities in access to training
  • Developing mechanisms that fit how current and future professionals live, learn and work
  • Increasing capacity in core competencies
  • Increasing the supply of practitioners in public health
