*These tuition rates are available to University of Minnesota School of Public Health, MPH, Nursing, and nonadmitted students. Tuition rates and fees for other programs of study will vary.

Other fees such as the student services fee, technology fees and GAPSA may apply, depending on student status and credit load for May Term/Summer Session 2008.

Go to www.onestop.umn.edu under Tuition & Billing for details on all fees. Questions about student fees can also be directed to php@umn.edu or 612-626-5665.

Payment of Tuition and Fees

The University of Minnesota uses electronic billing and offers payment through your student financial account. You will automatically receive notification from the Bursar¿s Office via your University of Minnesota email account when your bill is ready to be viewed online. Paper bills are not available. Tuition and fees are due for nondegree-seeking students by July 9, 2008.

Third-Party Billing

Third-party billing is available for payment of tuition and fees. If an organization not owned by you or a family member makes a commitment to pay your educational expenses, it is considered a third-party sponsor by the University of Minnesota. When payment is due on your student account, the sponsor is billed by the University. The sponsor provides billing authorization by letter, purchase order or voucher directed to the Third Party Billing Office.

Your university student account is credited for the expected payment amount. This credit prevents late fees, installment/rebilling fees and holds on your account. If the sponsor does not pay your bill, the conditional credit from your account is removed and you are billed. Your account may be subject to late and installment/rebilling fees until the charges are paid. An unpaid bill may cause inability to obtain transcripts or register for future terms or cancellation from classes. Go to www.onestop.umn.edu/onestop/tuition.html  for complete information and directions for requesting third-party billing or call 612-625-8559.

It is your responsibility to check your email account and pay tuition and fees as requested to avoid late payment fees.

To avoid late registration fees, register by May 27, 2008.
