Continuing education contact hours are available as an alternative to graduate-level academic credit registration. Ten contact hours of instruction are equivalent to one CEU.

Course instructors determine requirements for noncredit participation. Contact hours are awarded through the Centers for Public Health Education and Outreach. Certificates are issued for each course for participants who choose this registration option. The University of Minnesota maintains a permanent record of participation.

Non-credit registration fee: $565/credit (1 credit=15 contact hours)

Complete the registration form indicating the courses you plan to attend and return it with a remittance for fees.

Registration Deadline

The registration deadline is one week before the class begins. To register after that date, please call 612-626-4515 or 800-493-2060 for space availability.

Cancellation

If you are registered as a professional continuing education participant, send written notice to cancel your registration to the Centers for Public Health Education and Outreach by fax at 612-626-4525 or by email to cpheo@umn.edu

Refund Policy

The following refund policy will apply for all continuing education registrations.

• An administrative fee of $50 will be charged on all cancellation requests received by May 26, 2008.
• 50% of tuition and fees paid will be refunded if written notification is received by May 27, 2008.
• No refund is available after May 28, 2008.
• In the event of course cancellation, a complete refund of fees paid will be made. In the event of a cancellation, the University of Minnesota is not responsible for participant housing or travel expenses
